Super Green Juice Recipe
Rob from www.bestjuicers.com demonstrates how to make a super healthy green juice with the green star juicer. 1 cucumber 1 green or red apple (green is less sweet more tart) 1-2 carrots 3 stalks of celery 1 head of romaine lettuce 1 2 large dino or regular kale leaves 1/4 to 1/2 ripe Hawaiian papaya (1/2 results in a sweeter juice) 1 handful of cilantro or parsley (or both for deeper green juice) 1 handful of fennel (stalk can be used too) 1 green or red apple (green is less sweet more tart) Optional small slice of garlic and/or ginger Optional Superfood like Vitamineral Green
I wouldn’t trade my Omega in for anything. This contraption looks more space-age than anything. And, what’s with the “centrifugal” commentary? Don’t forget, too, that by juicing, a tremendous amount of natural fiber is lost. Unless you’re trying to cleanse, better to eat the veggies. And don’t buy into the “don’t eat carrots because they have sugar” nonsense.
I have this same juicer ( Green Life ). I found it on Craigslist for $150.00. It is a great juicer. I love carrots, pineapple, pears, grannysmith apples, ginger and spinach….Yumm!!!
I think it would be better to blend the papaya into the juice, but that’s just me…
u can eat the pulp after juicing and u wont loose any fiber, also carrots need to be juiced in order to get all the beta carotene because it needs to be seperated from the fiber , which u can eat the pulp fiber after wards

We juice primarily for cleansing and quick nutrient bursts (body absorbs quickly) and for our baby girl (bleh to people who give their kids soda)

one thing he and most juicers and blenders don’t mention is that you need to chew your smoothie /and juice.
u need to mix it with saliva to maximise the break down of the sugars and aid digestion and nutrient absorption.
wow that thing is really slow.
It would be way faster to just throw all that stuff in a Vita Mix, add a bit of water and blend it all up…I use my vita mix multiple times a day.
I just got my first juicer, the green star, I love it! I’m totally addicted to juicing. I subbed!

I think you need to learn how to pay more attention. He highly recommended the juicer you are raving about. He also stated that he used it from time to time. Remember — different strokes for different folks!

Check out SunClorella A. Made in Yukoto Japan. It’s probably the best superfood in the world, definitely one of the oldest.
The froth at the top is proteins. What I do is enjoy the juice ignoring the froth and then at the end just gulp the froth down!
